Surprised?

I hear a voice,
It is she
The one whom I have been
Waiting to see
She comes up close
And whispers in my ear
Looks at my eyes
Tells me not to shed tears
She cradles my face
And sings me a song
Of sweet memories from
A time long gone
But just as I start
To feel a bit safe
I wake up and find
It was my TV for God's sake!
